$10,000 A Day From Adsense
Podcast interview with Markus Frind of PlentyOfFish.com, a free dating site that makes $10K per day via Adsense. Needless to say, he’s got massive traffic streams in order to generate that revenue. Markus is a great believer in word-of-mouth advertising.
The interview touches on the difference between corporate-looking design and “ugly” design. Is ugly design better? Does ugly design result in more Adsense revenue?
I think the key is to have an understanding of who the audience is and what they want. Those considerations should dictate design choices.

Markus not only has a massive traffic stream but he is a genius programmer and optimizer! He really knows what he is doing when it comes to servers, programming, and everything technical running his site. I do believe that PlentyOfFish.com is the largest/most visited site ran by a single person and AI. It also amazes me with the few servers he uses to run his ENTIRE popular site.

This website Alexa rank is 679, with 15,000 currently online visitors. No doubt they can make this amount. Adsense publishers dream of that, even do I.

But how much traffic would he have been getting a month to get that much money via Adsense, I think 10,000 unique visitors every day.
