Think about it. Somebody does a search for “divorce attorney” and instead of some scummy attorney web site, the result is this. Somebody does a search for “child protective services” and the result is Seattle PI’s Power to Harm.
Somebody does a search for “IRS” and instead of the IRS home page, they are confronted with stories of IRS abuse. Somebody does a search for “cops” and instead of some macho, shoot first ask questions later propaganda page, they are confronted with this.
Just imagine that for a minute. Imagine the power to educate society of governmental abuses.
Instead of abusing Google’s Achilles’ Heel for our own own profit, we can do it to educate the masses.
If abusing Google’s algorithm isn’t your cup of tea, you can always just link to a website or to the expose the injustices within society and government. Or you can give to charity and get your name listed on the “Faces of Philanthropy: Giving Back” page.
That’s my goal in life.
Ok, not really. But now that we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed the holidays, we really should do something about that guilt.
