Google need to find new markets, and television advertising is, obviously, a big one.
“Google is preparing to deliver â€œtargeted measurable television adsâ€ and Schmidt says Google has â€œa good shot at it. Schmidt is frustrated that â€œWhen you watch the television you see ads that are clearly not targeted for youâ€
Such a system would deliver more value to advertisers, and perhaps make television more useful. The days of interuption advertising models will hopefully soon be over.
Google plan to do the same with radio.
