Microsoft have formally launched AdLabs, a joint effort of Microsoft adCenter and Microsoft Research, a tool designed to provide advertisers with rich targeting capabilities. I’m not sure if this particular tool is new:Â Demographics Prediction Tool , but the Digg crowd are having a lot of fun with it:
“You can use adCenter technology to predict a customerâ€™s age,
gender, and other demographic information according to his or her
online behaviorâ€”that is, from search queries and webpage views“.
Google and Yahoo! are for girls, apparently, while this blog is rather male oriented. Curiously, sex.com is overwhelmingly female oriented.
