Google Clean Up The Serps

Google have placed portal-style links at the top of the serps for many pharmaceutical related search queries.
Good move.

It’s not just for pharmaceutical search terms.

They had to move to manual editing for the hottest terms. I have been wondering about when they would do someting like this for the last couple of years.
Of course they would like it to work automagically, but they must have realised that manual editing of the most searched for terms is actually a good thing for the users.
Working with SEO on a daily basis makes us all half-blind in my opinion.
