I have no idea, but the Blogsphere comes closest. The blog search arena is hotting up - well, sort of - there’s another over-hyped blog search engine just been launched, called Sphere. Techcrunch has an overview, as does ResearchBuzz, Weblogs Work, and ZDNet.

Why are blog search engines important? Well, they’re not really. Not yet, anyway. As the momentum of blogs drifts further into the mainstream, however, these engines may become more significant traffic generators, so well worth keeping an eye on, especially if you publish a blog.

In the meantime, it would be nice just to find good blog posts more easily. Sphere does have some nice sorting features.

And lots of stuff on Britney Spears. Naturally.
